FINAL I-600 Approval and VISA!!!!

The United States government is officially ready to recognize DoriGrace Le Booth as our daughter. The FINAL step....we have her Passport and VISA in hand!! I am still thinking that Wednesday is the fastest we can get out of here. Hopefully Todd held our seats out of HCMC. We are so excited to be heading home!!! (Truly…you have NO IDEA!) I’ll send flight info when it is available!

We have received our formal invitation to the Cline’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve party tonight. We’re all meeting at Jaspar’s for dinner and then going to their apartment to party. The girls have warned us that clothing is mandatory, and it is BYOP (Bring Your Own Pringles.) With three infants between us, I'm sure we'll be home early, but we are so lucky to have such great traveling companions. I understand we should expect SEVERAL fireworks displays tonight and we should have a great view from the 15th floor. The question is: If the normal nightly horn honking sympony causes me to go to bed with earplugs, do ya think the fireworks will bother me???

Happy New Year!!!!

How funny... you post this while I'm commenting on your previous post. Hooray!!! Great news! Please e-mail the details just as soon as you have them.

Happy New Year! It'll be 2008 there shortly... interesting that we're just starting our day on the 31st. I hope to see you all in just a few days.

I remember that feeling of just wanting to get home. I always thought it was kind of like labor pains. Because, truly, as soon as you are home, you will forget how hard it was! Hold on!!!! I can't wait to hear that you are home! Have fun at your New Year's party. Sounds awesome. -Erin L.

I woke up in the middle of the night and read things were not going according to "our" plan. I thought about the inspiring words I could send to cheer you up and say hang in there you can make it. Instead I went to bed and prayed and prayed that the Lord would work things out or give you peace to continue to endure.

Now all I can say is thank you Lord, thank you Lord, and continue to pray flights will work out as smoothly.

Can't wait to see you all!

Miss Val

Happy New Year!!! I hope you're able to get home soon. Vietnam is wonderful, but after a couple of weeks of living in hotel rooms, it's time to come home. Those Cline girls sound like something else - you're going to have a fun night! :)
